Felted Winter Wonderland
Saturday 13th December
10am - 4pm
Learn to create a wet felted winter woodland in the morning using Merino wool and silk fibres. In the afternoon follow step by step instructions to needle felt a sleeping fox, a hare or an owl sitting in the tree.
Traditional Upholstery -Spring Term
5 Week courses starting from 6th January. Courses run Tuesday & Thursday.
Expert guidance from Master Upholsterer Hannah Weston Smith. There will be a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure you get the guidance you need to complete your project.
Roman Blind & Soft Furnishings Classes- December
Friday 5th, 12th & 19th December
9.30am - 4.00pm
Spend a day with Irenee Chappell in the school workshop making a Roman blind for your home using the same methods as a professional soft furnisher.

Felted Hedgehogs & Toadstools
Thursday 19th February
6.30-8.30pm
Spend an evening learning how to needle felted this a little hedgehog character and toadstool. A great workshop for beginners or those that want to learn more techniques in needle felting. We will use a mix of British wools to create our pieces.
Wet Felted Vessel
Thursday 23rd April
6.30-8.30pm
Learn how to wet felt around a resist to create a unique vase for your home. Glass jar may be kept inside so that it can hold water and real flowers or take the glass out to have a unique felted vessel for dried flowers or decoration. Bring your own glass jar, empty wine bottle or glass to felt around or use one of mine. Play with colourful Merino wool, curls, sparkle and silk fibres and learn how to wet felt them around a plastic resist. Once they have started to felt we can then insert our bottle to finish the felting process.This fun quick technique teaches you how to upcycle glass bottles/jars and turn them into unique gifts.
