Spend a day with Irenee Chappell in the school workshop making a Roman blind for your home using the same methods as a professional soft furnisher.

Thursday 19th February
6.30-8.30pm
Spend an evening learning how to needle felted this a little hedgehog character and toadstool. A great workshop for beginners or those that want to learn more techniques in needle felting. We will use a mix of British wools to create our pieces.

Learn how to create a wet felted night landscape picture in the morning and a realistic needle felted flying owl in the afternoon.
This class will focus on how to create depth and realism in your felting. This class is wet felting in the morning and needle felting in the afternoon.

6.30-8.30pm
Learn how to wet felt around a resist to create a unique vase for your home. Glass jar may be kept inside so that it can hold water and real flowers or take the glass out to have a unique felted vessel for dried flowers or decoration.

Learn how to create large felted flowers on a felted picture. This class will focus on how to create your own pre felt pieces that we will cut into large flower shapes. Layer colourful merino wool with silk, curls and other textures.

Create a shaped and piped headboard using sustainable upholstery materials.
This class is ideal for anyone who wants to make their own headboard for their home.
This class allows you to make a full size headboard to suit your home rather than a sample. You can choose to attach it to a wall or your bedframe.

Folkingham Creative Arts (FCA) is breathing new life into the old school, a Victorian building at the heart of the pretty village of Folkingham.
Launching with courses in upholstery and furniture restoration, there will soon be courses across a diverse range of creative skills.
